WOW- Most of those paddlers don't look remotely qualified to run that rapid. And why do they think being right on top of each other is gonna help? Sure- it doesn't look like the easiest line, but ... damn. Yall run loose anymore. I'm now a soloist because most paddlers can't be trusted to use good judgement.

For the english speakers. This video is kind of a tradition and comes out every year. It is a compilation of all the fails during the event. That is what "carnage " means. The spot is very well known and is actually super safe. As soon as you get out of the boat the current will actually pull you out. The hole itself is pretty violent, especially if you are using a smaller boat. So it is a good training spot. Some crazy people actually fall on propose to try and "fight" to get out of it as it. The Bell in the middle of the path is there for you to try and hit it with your paddle or your boat as you pass.

What is the line on this feature? It seems like everyone got worked in the hole and anyone who attempted to boof off the rock (river right) on the first drop received a preliminary beating. The best line that I saw was the gentleman at 4:20 who went hard river left and got shot out of the hole by the jet on the left wall.
Watch the green/yellow boat who first appears at the top of the screen at around 5:26 (ignore the orange boat getting spanked). Best line on the video I think
The line is boof off the left side of the top rock and then carry speed and hit your boof. Almost everyone that got worked completely plugged the main hole at the bottom.

@@sibrilliant thin line between badass and dumbass. I mean, looks like the swims are safe but a little spacing wouldcbe smart. I seen tons of injuries in my 40 years in whitewater. Most are from collisions with other boaters. You shouldn't be counting your companions as hazards. Do what you want... I stay the fuck away from clowns that drop in on each other.

Oui tout à fait, le plus gros passage. Toutefois ne le sous estimez pas ! La vidéo écrase un peu la taille des seuils et j'en compte 3 (voir 4 avec le tout petit du début).

At @7:24 is there another rock just under the pillow of water there at the very bottom? Because it looks like he slides down the visible rock thats just under the waterflow and then lands like a brick on rock under water.
